EAR PIERCING GUIDE

Helix Piercing

The helix piercing is located in the upper cartilage of the ear. We recommend 10-12 mm diameter hoops or bar piercings, as both follow the natural curve of the ear. Below are the types of closures available to match your style and comfort:

1. Click Closure - This closure is perfect if you’re looking for something practical and easy to use. Its mechanism is simple: the hoop opens, and when closed, you’ll hear a small "click" that ensures it’s securely fastened. This is a secure, quick, and hassle-free option, ideal for those who want ease when putting on and removing their piercing daily.

2. Continuous Hoop Closure - If you prefer a more minimalistic and clean look, the seamless ring closure is for you. It has no visible closure; you only need to gently separate part of the hoop to insert it and then adjust it back to its original shape. This is an aesthetic, discreet, and elegant option.

3. External Thread Closure -  In this closure, the barbell has an external thread, and the decorative ball screws onto it. It’s a very secure option, especially if you prefer barbell piercings, as it ensures the piercing stays firmly in place. We offer three designs that follow the natural curve of the ear.

Piercing Tragus

For this type of piercing, we recommend using threaded closure piercings or small hoops, between 6-8 mm in diameter, depending on the thickness of your cartilage, to ensure a perfect fit in this specific area.

Here are the different types of closures available, so you can choose the one that best suits your preferences:

1. External Thread Closure  - The external thread closure is ideal if you prefer a piercing that sits centered in the tragus area of the ear. The piercing has an external thread, and the ball screws securely onto it. You can choose from various designs such as zirconia, moons, or small decorative details, making it perfect for creating an Earparty in your style, adding a lot of personality to your look.

2. Click Closure - If you prefer a hoop for the tragus and want something practical, the click closure is your option. Its mechanism is simple: you open the hoop, place it, and upon closing, you’ll hear a small "click" ensuring it’s securely fastened. It’s quick, secure, and easy to use, perfect for daily wear.

3. Continuous Hoop Closure - The continuous hoop closure is the perfect option if you're looking for a minimalist hoop. Since it has no visible closure, the result is a very clean and elegant look. Additionally, it’s very comfortable because, in this small area, not having a visible closure makes it much more practical for everyday wear.

Lobe Piercing

The lobe is a versatile spot for earrings, as you can have multiple piercings and create endless combinations depending on your style. Here are the available options to personalize your look:

1. Hoops with Charm - Add color or special details to your ear party with hoops that feature charms like white or colored zirconia, stars, or flowers. Most of our hoops have an 11 mm outer diameter with the charm hanging below.

2. Hoops (without Charm) - If you are looking for a minimalist style, earrings without charms are perfect for you. We have several designs, such as braided earrings, earrings that mimic the shape of a link, textured earrings or plain earrings in different sizes. You can play with the combination of several earrings of different sizes, creating a harmonious visual effect, from the largest to the smallest.

3. Mini Earrings - Mini earrings are small and very versatile. With butterfly closure and different decorative motifs, they are ideal if you are looking for something discreet but with a special touch. Play around creating combinations with mini earrings and earrings that have similar details, or even creating combinations with the same natural stone.

4. Extern Thread Piercings - If you prefer a extern thread piercing for the upper lobe area and are looking for comfort, external thread piercings with ball clasp are the perfect choice. The barbell has an external thread, and the decorative ball is securely threaded, ensuring that the piercing stays firmly in place.

Daith Piercing

The daith piercing is placed in the inner fold of the ear cartilage, right in the part closest to the ear canal. It is a unique and striking option, perfect for those looking for something more original and different. Its location makes it ideal for small or semi-open earrings, creating a very attractive and subtle look at the same time.

Conch Piercing

The conch piercing is placed in the central part of the ear cartilage, just in the flattest and widest area. This type of piercing is very versatile, as you can opt for a ring that surrounds the outer edge of the ear, we recommend a ring of about 14 mm, or a bar earring that makes the natural shape of the ear, if you prefer something more simple and discreet.

Ear Cuff

Ear cuffs are the perfect choice if you want to wear a piercing without having a perforation. These ear cuffs surround the cartilage and fit comfortably, creating a modern and daring look. At CREU, we offer two types of ear cuffs, so you can choose the one that best suits your style:

Helix styled Ear Cuffs, for the upper cartilage area. These ear cuffs are designed to be placed on top of the cartilage, simulating the effect of a helix piercing. They are an excellent alternative if you love the style of this piercing but prefer to avoid the perforation.

Conch styled Ear Cuffs. These ear cuffs mimic the effect of the conch piercing by being placed in the middle area of the cartilage. They are a great option for those looking for a more sophisticated look without the need to commit to a piercing. They can be easily combined with other piercings to create a complete and personalized Earparty.
